Kris Wiltse's Art: Nov 21, 2009
http://kriswiltse.blogspot.com/2009_11_21_archive.html
Saturday, November 21, 2009. As soon as I had the first block cut I had to do a little test run on some scrap Rives BFK buff colored paper. It's a lovely color. The texture of wood is so pretty and fascinating. I did a quick cutout with veneer to see how it would print on top. Now cutting the second block. Making a bit of a mess out of this one. I want lots of textures, so the more mistakes, the merrier! Posted by Kris Wiltse. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Tuesday, June 8, 2010. Bowl of Fruit Still Life. Here's a color composition for my next block print. I'm considering using some wonderfully textured mahogany. It'll be a multi-block print. I'm interested in this experiment to see how this will translate into a print because I want to use overlapping colors to create new, yet maintain the intensity and contrast of the compliments. Now to Sharpen my tools! Posted by Kris Wiltse. Ill be checking back to see how it turns out.your work is beautiful.

Where we get snagged we stay. Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Ready for Four Muddy Feet. In this world of big box stores, supermarkets the size of football fields, and mass marketing of low grade merchandise, it is refreshing to locate a small local company with a quality product. Finally we decided to just put a blanket on the seat for Benton and be done with it. In explaining this to a friend, she suggested Mambe Waterproof Blankets. Mambe blankets have a different color on each side,. 1 Woke up ✓. 2 Air...

Creating art on Whidbey Island. Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Visiting the Kang Lavender farm last week was reminiscent of the kind of summer I had as a youngster. Sitting, enjoying beautiful weather with friends and letting the talk flow around you. The fields of Lavender are so colorful, it was warm and quiet and a light breeze kept us cool. A gift from our host MC. The rocker, floated in and out of the sun. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Pears, peers, pairs, puns. 160; ...Im talking about Westp...
