Fun With Boxes: May 2014 – Lootcrate. May 24, 2014. Who doesn’t love the excitement and mystery of opening presents, whether it be on Christmas, your birthday, or whatever other occasion? And even, of course, nerdy stuff. I’d only ever tried on before, a healthy snack box called Graze. That was offering a free first month if you signed up with a referral code (for the record, they’re still doing this, and my code is JEREMI4TP. The real subject of this post today, however, is LootCrate. This month’s...

Momtastic Stitchery: Mad Scientist Monday #18: Old Candy, Old Commercial
http://momtasticstitchery.blogspot.com/2012/01/mad-scientist-monday-18-old-candy-old.html
Mad Scientist Monday #18: Old Candy, Old Commercial. You can find out more about the Tootsie Roll. Company and even a study on How Many Licks Does It Take? On their website. Kind of an awesome history to this company that has been around since 1896. I had to close the site it was making me drool, so much of my childhood was wrapped up (literally) in their candy. Weren't they the ones that had comics in their bubble gum? Or maybe that was Hubba Bubba? I go through them every year, matching and recycling.

News from the Middle of the World: Welcome 20-14!
http://writinginthemiddle.blogspot.com/2014/01/welcome-20-14.html
News from the Middle of the World. Thursday, January 16, 2014. This year I resolve to try to start saying "Twenty-fourteen" like the cool kids, instead of "Two-thousand-fourteen". It's been a hard habit to break! I have many, many more resolutions, though, most of which will probably be too much for me to sustain over the course of the year, but as I've noted in the past,. I could also add doing more fun stuff like this! But this shouldn't be a resolution,. It should just be a way of like! Learn the name...

Hot off the press / MiniEco: A Craft Book. October 15, 2013. April 30, 2015. A copy of my new book popped through the letter box today. It’s so good to see a copy in the flesh (- it’s been a year in the making). It’s got a neon green/papercut dust jacket (which is really hard to photograph! And is full of beautiful photographs and illustrations. You can order a copy from The Book Depository. Or Amazon.co.uk. It would make a great gift for Christmas * *. Photography by Garry Maclennan. Wow, looks awesome!
