Friday, August 28, 2009. So, get this. Noah's weekly school newsletter said that today is Crazy Hair Day at school. he wanted a mohawk, so I shaved his head into a mohawk. Not to mention - I colored his hair (and scalp) RED with Koolaid (which stains BAD). The tea cher made a typo on the newsletter. Today is Crazy HAT Day! Wednesday, April 28, 2010. My beloved, prescription, sunglasses. I'm so happy to have you back. I promise to, never again, put you in the custody of another person. So the story goes. Almost 3 weeks ago I go out with a friend (G) for happy hour. A friend of hers (C), whom I had never met before, comes along too. At the resto. Bar, I asked C to hold my glasses for me because she was the only one that brought a purse. SURE! Monday, I lost it! More to the story, but I'll spare you all the juicy details.

So, it has been so long since my last entry that I can't even begin to fill you in on everything that has happened, but here's a brief list to summarize. RIP Butler: We had to have our old dog, Butler, put down. He would have been 11 years old in January. He lived a LONG, healthy, loved life. Greatest dog ever. I miss him. Thanksgiving: uneventful. Monday, August 10, 2009. So, yeah, it's been a while! How do you like my new skin? Thank you Tiff and Pam! But still. it was way too long to be away from Chris and our home. On July 27th Noah started First Grade. He loves it. Well, he did up until today. Today he was given his first week of "real" homework. Holy mother of God! Saturday, April 11, 2009. How Is It Possible? Two boys, made from the same two parents, same two sets of genetics, and they are COMPLETE opposites? It baffles my mind. That's how many times a day I have to speak to Noah and tell him not to do something he shouldn't be doing, or touching something he shouldn't be touching, or saying something he shouldn't be saying.
