Thursday, September 3, 2009. We got out our Bucket Balance to use for our Missing Addends Math lesson today! We started with pennies, then moved to colored math counters, and. Moved on to CHOCOLATE CHIPS. And when there are chocolate chips involved, what Kindergartner. Can resist joining in? I guess it's good that addition and subtraction go hand-in-hand, especially when chocolate chips are involved. PS If you plan on trying this, make sure to wash out your buckets with scalding. He (me) made a poster about where his ancestors come from so it was fun for us to be able to do Chile. He handed out treats with Manjar on them (it is like caramel and very yummy). We may not have it all together but together we have it all. Friday, June 11, 2010. Madison turned 7 this months.she's outgrown princesses so we did a glamour party. We did make-up and nails and dressed up and then just goofed around. they all had a blast. Madi has a good group of friends. Busy Spring for Jake.
