Wednesday, August 17. Preview haul with the girls. In the beginning of August one of my best friends came back from teaching in Japan, and near the end of her short stay - she was only around for ten days! I went with her to go shopping for souvenirs. Because it's almost the fall season, lots of stores in the Santa Monica Promenade were having end-of-the-season sales. Me and my Boys. Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Joey and I decided it would be fun to have a gross-out dinner tonight. We had mouse meatloaf,. Brains (it's watermelon- I was even getting grossed out by the veiny things in the rind). Ogre toes- looks like someone needs to have a pedi! And a toilet cake. I know, that may have just gone a little too far with the lemon jell-o and tootsie rolls, but I couldn't resist. Boys love this kind of thing. Could you imagine a house full of girls going for this?

I had a little 2:00 am tea-party for some friends and family while we watched the live coverage. We all had the Mormon version of tea in our little tea cups- Diet Coke. It was so much fun to have Jana and Zola here for a week. She is a perfect Tinkerbell. Bella was Alice in Wonderland. I think she was pretty confused the whole time to see everyone looking so funny.
