Monday, May 28, 2012. Recently I found a new Embroidery website- Urban Threads. I can't say I love them enough! I have been going nuts looking at all their cool designs and of course trying a few of them out. They have machine and hand embroidery as well as stock art. Friday, June 8, 2012. Lately I've been making a bunch of things for other people, so for this project I wanted something that would be just for me! Recently my ribbon collection had been getting a bit out of hand and I needed a new ribbon holder, so I went to my pile of wood and came up with this new ribbon holder. I am really excited by it and I enjoyed the process of making it so much that I didn't take a lot of pictures of the process, but in total this project cost about $9. Here's how I did it.

Thursday, September 6, 2012. For a few minor storms, I sail upon steady waters. My last post was about 4 months ago, and since then, the skies have remained clear, weather balmy, and water crystal blue. One nice bit of progress for us is our basement! Hmmmm so far not too much. I am the window cleaner and general tidy-upper and I will eventually be promoted to painter. Which is OK, since it will be nice to add color to my walls! Sunday, April 8, 2012.
