Finding Nemo: August 2007
http://beingnc.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
You don't get to choose how you're going to die. Or when. You can only decide how you're going to live. Now. Friday, 24 August 2007. Life’s been crazy these past few weeks – that has become my standard response to all the “How are you doing? 8221; queries flung at me by friends and acquaintances. Somehow, this time, this semester seems different from all the others gone by. This one seems special. A foreboding of times to come? Human nature, maybe. Just a passing thought… . Melting Pot: March 2010
http://dark-marauder.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
I came, I saw, I learnt. Sunday, March 28, 2010. The Sixth Day (Part 1). A few hours later, as they were sitting in the coffee house – he could not take his eyes off her. Days had turned into months, and months into years, but she had not changed – her banter was still lively and her smile still possessed the power to set his heart racing, again and again and again. He was looking for words to make conversation. 8220;You seem to have a moustache”,. What am I saying? She stood up and left. I asked God, "M...

You don't get to choose how you're going to die. Or when. You can only decide how you're going to live. Now. Saturday, 11 April 2009. The first sight of Hong Kong. Time: 7:30 in the morning. Friday, 10 April 2009. China, here I come! Anyway, that’s my dear old state for you – completely ‘out there’. Made me wonder if there is any major city of the world that does not have a considerable number of Punjabis. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. The first sight of Hong Kong.

Melting Pot: November 2010
http://dark-marauder.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
I came, I saw, I learnt. Sunday, November 7, 2010. Three Fat Ladies with Purses (Part 3). 8220;I’m so glad to finally meet you. You are more beautiful than I had imagined you to be”. This was what Pat wanted to say. Instead, he said – “Ahem. Grrr. Ahem”. Or something to that effect. 8220;This place is quite boring. Don’t you think? Patricia looked intently at Pat when saying these words. The words and the stare were singularly potent enough to unnerve Pat. The combination, was lethal. Pat glanced at Patr...

I came, I saw, I learnt. Friday, April 30, 2010. The Sixth Day (Part 6). 8220;Your smile is glittering as brightly as the glass door of the coffee shop”. He uttered, shifting his glance from the doorman cleaning the entrance door to her. 8220;Was that a compliment? She asked, bemused. 8220;Did it sound like one? There was a momentary silence. And then, both of them burst into laughter, on a joke that only the two of them could understand. But then, did it need to be understood by someone else? 8220;I jus...

I came, I saw, I learnt. Saturday, June 12, 2010. Three Fat Ladies With Purses (Part 2). Before Pat could comprehend the sudden and strange gesture, Professor Darlington had already made himself comfortable on the opposite seat, placed a glittering silver box on the table, taken a cigar out of it, lit it, pursed it between his lips, pocketed the box and even made a perfectly circular ring of smoke. Perhaps, it was the ring that blew Pat’s top. 8220;Who the hell are you? Pat sniggered. He smiled. A waiter...

I came, I saw, I learnt. Thursday, December 17, 2009. My Great American Dream. 8220;Fiqrana ho ke hum jeeye, Khamakha hum jeeye na kyun. Beparwah ho ke hum jeeye, Khamakha hum jeeye na kyun”. Don’t worry. It’s not that I’ve taken a fascination for Akshay Kumar’s latest dud at the box office. It is just that I have no better words to sum up the ethos of the past three and a half months of my life in the capital of the world -. A phase of meaninglessness, purposelessness, leisure and well, LIFE. This city ...

Finding Nemo: Bridge to Terabithia
http://beingnc.blogspot.com/2009/10/bridge-to-terabithia.html
You don't get to choose how you're going to die. Or when. You can only decide how you're going to live. Now. Friday, 9 October 2009. It made me think, made me think about things I hadn’t thought about in a long long time. But what a refreshing change! Hmmm, i didnt really get the bridge to. but indeed! The books back then had an incredible bounty of imagination and imagery - the famous five, the faraway tree, the secret mountain/sea etc series, asterix, tintin, the three investigators.WOW!
