Wednesday, June 1, 2011. A First for Izzie Rue. Isabelle lost her first tooth the other day, and as is usually with her and milestones, we blinked, she smiled, and it was done. We are amazed at what a beautiful big girl she is becoming. And what a beloved big sister she is to her adoring Luci Lu. Although this adoration is becoming a little concerning with little sis working on multiple "loose tooth" just like her "Ba-Belle". Wow, I cant believe she is old enough to start losing teeth! Saturday, October 23, 2010. AL Champion Texas Rangers. Last night I was lucky enough to go the greatest sporting event I have ever witnessed. A great friend of mine, and a monk no less, was given 2 tickets to game 6 of the ACLS at the Ballpark in Arlington. Colby Lewis pitched an incredible game, allowing only 1 run on a fluke play.The closer, Neftali Feliz, struck out former Ranger A-Rod on a called 3rd strike to end the game and send the Rangers to their first ever World Series! Thursday, June 2, 2011. From a VERY long time ago, but still super cute, we present the "Cabin Building" pictures. We had been reading The Little House Series prior to these pictures, and spent many months after them building various forms of housing then breaking it all down and moving again. Which is of course a good summary of The Little House Series as well. Luci and Daniel didn't hunt any animals. Daniel, to this day, prefers to hunt Indians and bad guys and eat them instead. My Valentine's treat this year is getting to run the "Fangtastic 5k" sponsored by Nashville's NHL team, The Predators. The race entry come with free tickets to a hockey game, so it makes for a fun-filled day. Here are some shots from this morning's 5k. Bart and I survived the race! How lucky are we to have fans come out to cheer us on for the last leg of the race?

The race I ran on March 12th was a humble local race that proved to be just as much fun. Do to the lack of glitz and glamour, I don't have any pictures from TKC, but I'll tell you about it anyways. Yeah, OK, the NFL cheerleaders would've been more exciting for the male runners. They weren't even wearing cheerleader costumes, just track suits.
