And although it still hurts, and the void is still there, permanentlydemanding acknowledgement; and the acute pangs of grief still smack me suddenly, unexpectedly at weird moments, it isbetter? It’s been a year of immense pain and heartache, yesbut also of tremendous growth and insight. There were moments growing up that I was convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that I was adopted (I wasn’t). What else could explain the self-imposed alienation I felt? Wellness Briefs act like regular diapers you find in stores or made cheaply. I wouldn’t even trust flooding them either or doing it lying down. So they are off my list.
