Wednesday, August 5, 2015. We did something a little different for our anniversary this year (#9! And wanted to hike into Colchuck Lake back in May. We've been itching to hike to this alpine gem for a couple years but knew our hiking warrior kiddos likely wouldn't make it all the way in. Bennett had his 4 year check-up last month and our boy checked out just fine and is a healthy and very large 4 year old (praise Jesus for his good health) In fact, his pediatrician said he's the size of an average 6 year old. Thursday, July 31, 2014. Some serious catch up. Sadly, our laptop completely died so we were without a computer for a bit and unfortunately lost everything saved on our computer from the last 4 years. So a word to the wise, if you don't back-up, DO! It sucks losing everything. Anyway, we got our new computer so I'm working on some mad blog catch-up. Looking back, May seemed like such a dark month with Suzie passing away so here's a look at some of the lighter moments. Celebrating Ellie's 5th birthday with a playdate and cupcakes. Monday, May 11, 2015. We had the best Apple Blossom this year. The littles make it so fun. I love creating festival traditions with them like I had when I was younger. First up, the kiddy parade. Friday, October 24, 2014. Definitely the highlight of the trip, holding Kevin the corn snake. Thursday, October 23, 2014. We needed to get out of the house the weekend that Clyde died cause being home was such a sad reminder of his missing presence, so no better cure for a heartache than getting outside and going for a hike.
