We were going to San Diego from end of December to April for Griffin's job and we had to stop by Grandma and Grandpa Allen's on the way! Our kind of love. Thursday, December 25, 2014. Our Christmas Day was magical! With Ava being a little bigger, she was able to at least open the presents! She doesn't fully understand Christmas but she was sure excited for all the gifts! For Christmas Ava got a pink teddy bear, a Disney Castle, Disney princesses, her first baby doll with diaper bag, clothes, stroller, and bottles and a ton of books! Wednesday, January 18, 2012. So we got a little bit of snow here in the Northwest. Shocking! It only happens about once or twice a year here but it's enough for us to want to throw on our rain boots (we are never prepared with snow gear) and go outside and play in the white stuff! This year we discovered the sledding hill at the end of our street. The whole neighborhood was out sledding! My kids were a little apprehensive about me sending them down the hill alone, but they survived a couple of trips!

Saturday, September 29, 2012. Welcome, Baby Logan! We are happy to announce that Logan Philip Swensen was born on Tuesday, September 18th, 2012 at 6:09 pm. He weighed 7 lbs. 12 oz and was 20 inches long. He is absolutely perfect and we are completely in LOVE with him! We are so happy he is here and feel so completely blessed to have him in our family! Family of six now! Macy has been the most excited about this baby! She wanted to be the 3rd person to hold him after me and then dad! Now that trips me out!

Saturday, February 19, 2011. When February 14th rolls around, it's the same thing every year. Some people love it, some people hate it and everyone has an opinion. Well at our house we celebrate Valentines day. Nothing too fancy, just enough to say "I love you.". This year we celebrated like we usually do. Travis gave me flowers, we bought a new outfit for Kambrie and I gave Trav a "one of a kind" original gift from me. I spent $0.00 on Trav's gift, using only things we had kicking around the house.

Monday, February 14, 2011. I hope every ones Valentines day was wonderful. I used to hate this holiday because I never had a boy friend growing up. Especially in high school when all the boyfriends of every other girl would show up with flowers, chocolate and stuffed animals and "surprise" their girlfriends. Did any one else feel this way?
