White Horses Cottage is located by the sea, on the Dungeness National Nature Reserve it was once part of a Sussex Farm house, featuring oak beams and leaded light windows, it was moved to its present location at Greatstone, Kent during 1936. All our rooms have a hospitality tray which includes mints and handmade biscuits. On arrival relax with a tea or coffee and homemade cake or scones in your room. There is also ample off road parking. Local Area Things to do In Romney Marsh. Romney Marsh is very popular with cyclists, walkers and bird watchers. A cycle path runs from Lydd to Rye. The Dungeness Bird Reserve and Observatory are only a short drive away. Several good local restaurants and pubs are nearby for your evening meals. There are two lighthouses at Dungeness one of which is open to the public to climb for a spectacular view. Dungeness is often used by film crews as a location, because of its unique landscape and scenic beaches.
