Who and What is White Apple Studio? I am Erica Applewhite, owner and designer of White Apple Studio. I started as a printmaker in middle school when my artist mother (who was also my 8th grade art teacher! Introduced the class to linoleum block prints. My first print of a sheep, my favorite animal at the time, was used for the school Christmas card that year. There is a wonderful campus of 3 museums within walking distance from each other. The Tacoma Art Museum, The Museum of Glass. And the Washington State History Museum. I was the youngest and probably didn’t have nearly the same experience my siblings had growing up. Dad was possibly a little tired of parenting when I came along. After all parenting is exhausting and he had already been doing it for 16 years. Yep, that was his trump card when I would ask “why”. I couldn’t argue with that.
