That others may live. Tuesday, December 12, 2006. Wallsmith Canyon 9th Dec, 2006. Canyon (or Wall Smith Canyon) is located over the ridge (to the west) of Rodamarker. Canyon, just above Bonito Lake. On some maps there is a trail marked partway up this canyon so our hike was an exploration of this canyon. We found a lot of evidence that there was a trail that was maintained up until perhaps 10 years ago. Emerging into the meadow below the Crest Trail:. The Crest Trail is just blow the horizon.

June 29, 2014. Recently NH adopted a Hike Safe Card that will be sold by NH Fish and Game as sort of an insurance policy should you need to be rescued by Fish and Game or one of the many Search and Rescue teams in New Hampshire. The card will cost $25 and will cover the cost of a rescue caused by negligence but not recklessness.
