Updates on my life in Cochabamba, Bolivia ". Pictures of My First Month in Bolivia. Every Saturday in the main plaza (Plaza Principal), Women (usually the indigenous people from all over the city) bring their babies and little children to get what is most likely their only bath of the week. After they are washed, we then dress them in clean clothes. Diapers are expensive and rarely used by these families. The weeks we are able to provide diapers are exciting times for the mothers and babies.

Updates on my life in Cochabamba, Bolivia ". While many of you are cuddled under warm blankets, wool socks pulled up high, with a cheery fire in the fireplace, I sit here under the fan hoping for a breeze through the open window. Bolivian schools are ending their year and kids are starting summer vacation. Although the seasons are reversed here, Christmas is just around the corner even in Bolivia! It comes as a great answer to prayer that I have been cleared to continue language studies through May!
