Wednesday, February 11, 2015. No Place Like Home. After just one night in the cabin, it's already becoming home. I officially moved in last night and then spent a couple of hours unpacking. The hardest part was figuring out where things were since I had just haphazardly thrown things into boxes and bags. The main thing I have left to do is organize the kitchen. My first breakfast :). There's nothing quite so homey has having a tea kettle on the hob. They match perfectly with the sofa. Yes, do come visit!

Wednesday, June 4, 2014. This past Sunday we celebrated Mom's 43rd birthday! She decided to just have ice cream this time, which we enjoyed that evening after church. Whenever I ask what meal she wants she always says, "Whatever I don't have to cook! So I didn't even ask her this time! Beth and I made garlic chicken, sweat potato casserole, corn pudding, and salad. Thursday, February 26, 2015. Over the past week we have had a couple minor "snowstorms". The ice inhibited some travel and public schools and colleges were closed most of the week. But the main roads were plowed and fine to drive on. The snow never lasted very long since eventually it warmed up (Sunday hit almost 60 degrees) and melted everything into muddy wetness.
