Following The Pfeils - Cinda's Notes. In The Waiting Room. My distractions are constant. What's that about. I can't concentrate. My mind wanders. I feel like I'm sitting in a waiting room - just waiting. This typically does not happen to me.after a loss. The last time we talked, I was practicing. We. Looking back, 7 of the 9 losses occurred between 4.5 weeks and 5.5 weeks. Typically the first sign was spotting. This time there was not a sign to "tip me off". April 23, 2009} Dancing and Organising. I definitely needed that boost. I still have things I need to do to confront about the last year in order to gain ‘closure’ but I have started. It is definitely helping my mood and I don’t feel quite as lost as I did ten days ago – all feels good😀. Lottie @ 1:37 pm [filed under Ulcerative Colitis. April 14, 2009} Dietitian’s Advice. I didn’t know about the tannins problem with iron so this was one of the interesting points. Mrs Dietitian also advised that if you h...

May 21, 2009} Looks can be deceiving. Here is a piece I wrote for my local NACC Group Newsletter – thought it might ring some bells. Ali. Inspired me to write it as any of her readers know she is often confronted by issues on the tube to work – cheers Ali x. If I turn up to the school gates with make-up on and looking well groomed how can I justify the fact that this is the third week I have cancelled a coffee date with my circle of friends? Managing a chronic and debilitating illness. Fill in your detai...

Martino Madness: Childcare while in Italy
http://martinomadness.blogspot.com/2014/03/childcare-while-in-italy.html
Childcare while in Italy. Dan and I had the wonderful opportunity to get away on a child-free vacation recently. This was our very first child-free, overnight vacation in more than 8 years. Yes, you read that right. And, yes, we are officially crazy. And well, I imagine it could push a weak soldier over the edge. A kid free vacation! 8221; And, having gammy and papa visit at the same time would be the icing on the cake. I figured Maria would be like the team captain of child duty and play, my mom was...

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, right? Here goes, the list. I can’t say the words “The List” without thinking of my favorite blog post. 2) Vacuum cleaners, hair dryers, blenders – any loud type of appliance that makes it impossible to hear anything else. 7) Fingernails. Martino Madness: Marco & Medicine Tricks
http://martinomadness.blogspot.com/2014/03/marco-medicine-tricks.html
Marco and Medicine Tricks. In my opinion, these are the big milestones that make things a bit easier for moms and dads everywhere. They include:. Child puts self to sleep. Getting dressed by themselves. Buckling themselves into a car seat. Taking medicine without issue. The day you can start to reason with your child, or convince them to do something because it is good for them, even if they don’t like it. (keyword = start… because I know this is a lifelong issue! 8221; and we repeated that mantra over a...

Memory 4 | Jiving on Regardless
https://lottie30.wordpress.com/2009/07/20/memory-4
July 20, 2009} Memory 4. I went home with a bag full of Ibrupfen and paracetamol and was told that would be enough to keep the pain at bay – I was dubious at the time and rightly so. The next day (Thursday – day 6) there was still no improvement so I went to my GP. This time they gave me even stronger pain relief, dihydrocodeine (Vicadin) alongside paracetamol and the sleeping pills. This worked well. Lottie @ 4:11 pm [filed under Ulcerative Colitis. Jiving on Regardless – My Ulcerative Colitis and JPouch Surgery. January 3, 2010} Lottie Loves…. Not sure if anyone will be interested but I have now started a new blog called ‘Lottie Loves…’. This blog is more about me and my life without UC but obviously, given that it was a huge part of my life, I still have a J-Pouch to live with and I am still fundraising and working with the NACC, it will still be a part of my blogging, just as a minor part of my life rather than a major one. March 30, 2009} Life teaches many lessons – all the time! Life moves in mysterious ways and teaches us many lessons – all the time! That is what I have learnt in the last few days. You think that this epiphany would have come to me sooner given recent experiences but no, it took some fairly trivial and some sad stuff for me to realise how precious and exciting life can be. Last weekend was shit (for once, not in the literal sense! Life can be very hard. Lottie @ 2:02 pm [filed under Ulcerative Colitis.
