Monday, March 24, 2008. Savoury Dumplings - Fun Gor (粉餜). Of course a long-long wkend wouldn't be complete without food! However, due to my own forgetfulness, misplaced my camera and was unable to find it in time to document the fun in the kitchen therefore this post seems pointless. :( so instead i'll just leave you a little story about happy. In any case, it's missing 妈妈的味道. so until the next. Day, you'll just have to trust me on this little delicious gem! Would u mind sharing your mom's recipe?

Sunday, March 9, 2008. A blog about my limited food journey would not be complete without a mention of the beloved pie floater! The iconic meat pie in pea soup with or without the tasty tomato sauce is either loved or loathed by those who try it. personally, i love it so much that i consider it somewhat of a staple food! About a week back i spied Sydney's version of the pie floater over at Not Quite Nigella. I'm a regular lurker! Have been wanting to try a pie floater for the longest time!

Thursday, 1 May 2008. It's been a year! Like a drug addict seeking for more magic mushrooms and trying out different little pills to get high I have been frantically searching for my pills. No, I’m not a drug seeker nor a drug pusher but I’m just a food blogger caught up in the blogsphere. A year ago, while desperately trying to download more food pictures onto my laptop, a sign. I would have ended up in some sort of mental institution otherwise with all my exams and stress I went through last year.

Monday, 27 August 2007. After being in Broken Hill for the past week, I’ve been impressed by the indomitable spirit of the wonderful city. The vibrant earthy colours and magical light of the landscape have drawn many film makers and artists here. BH is the longest continuous mining operation in. And the largest single source of lead, silver and zinc ore. Sandeep came down to Broken Hill to visit Khobe and me. It so happens that his birthday is on the 10. Of August. Just 3 days before mine. 3 Stir flours ...

Saturday, March 15, 2008. Lipton Green Milk Tea (立顿绿奶茶). That's why i make it my mission to scout these chinese supermarkets for goodies i know people living in asia are taking forgranted! I had high hopes and was not disappointed! Remember, it's best chilled.and great for the heatwave we've been experiencing here. give it a go and let me know what you think! I'll be trying it with powdered milk to see which turns out better in terms of consistency and taste. but in the meantime, enjoy a happy下午茶! Friday, March 7, 2008. Chicken (any left over roast chicken does well with this particular recipe). Mushroom (preferably fresh as it tastes more wholesome but you can do with canned ones like i did). Halve the muffins simply by cutting them down the middle. Remove them and spread a generous amount of sauce over the top. Add desired toppings and sprinkle enough cheese that it covers the whole muffin. Place them back into the oven/grill until the cheese melts through. Saturday, 29 September 2007. Thai Pineapple Fried Rice. Since young, my family and i use to enjoy dinning in Thai Restaurants back home. We even used to drive across the border of Thailand just to have lunch there and come back. We seldom do that now since Thailand has become a little politically unstable. While i decided to cook the fried rice, he decided to be useful and started cutting the pineapple and scooping flesh of it out. 1 whole pineapple/ 1 can canned pineapple, drained. 2 tsp curry powder.

Noelbynature started this blog as a Singaporean student on a tight budget hoping to chronicle his overseas culinary experience while getting away with the finer things in life. Then it expanded to a circle of Singaporean and Malaysian friends who were studying in Melbourne, Australia. Now, we've grown to be a community of international students living abroad. These are our recipes and we hope you like them. We still would rather not eat indomee every day. Enter your search terms. Green Tea Muah Chee.
