Whose Children Are These? Will be offered to PBS affiliate stations to record via PBS's National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA) on August 26, 2007. Stations will then decide whether or not to air the program. PBS stations are flooded with requests to show multiple programs. Any attention that can be brought to programs, such as emails, help station programmers to figure out which ones to give priority to. From the period of November 2002-December 2003, over 83,000 Muslim men complied with the program and nearly 14,000 were put into deportation proceedings due to immigration status violations. Although the program claimed to be a tool to increase national security, none of these men were actually charged with terrorism related offenses.
