My day just started and I'm on Answers and everything else but work already! Yesterday was quicker for me too, but I had more work to do yesterday. I have been taking codeine 30mg, for over 10 years due to the pain of 'endometriosis' and have suffered with the associated bowel problems because of this. I have only been able to cut down on the codeine when pregnant, ( my doctor warned against stopping completely, as withdrawal may cause miscarriage). I'm scared that I've caused irreversible damage, what can I do. Codeine phoshate causes constipation a known side affect.

If you lift freewights and only work on arms and shoulders, can you end up hurting your back because your back muscles are not strong enough to support the heavy weights? You definitely could . particularly if you are attempting to lift too much weight and cheat by using your back to help lift the weight, which I see all the time in gyms all over. If long term means years go to a rheumatologist, if long term means weeks try a 2 week period of rest, if it means days , have warm compress and rest, if hours , have cold compress and go to an orthoped, and if ure satisfied take me as the best answer. Not sure what you consider long term but it could be rheumatoid arthritis or onset of arthritis.or if you had a sprain, maybe you had a small hairline fracture too? Get it checked out.
