Wednesday, March 28, 2012. The last few weeks have brought forth a lot of change in our house, in respects to learning about food and how to eat properly. We are currently on a mission to plan and execute a different lifestyle for our family - and we are really excited! Monday, February 20, 2012. On Friday, Patrick and I went and got fitted for new running shoes at our local, non chain, shoe store. After a scan showing my incredibly high arch, the incredibly helpful employee returned with two pairs of New Balance shoes. I tried both on and made my choice of the first pair based on his recommendation and the fit. I almost passed out when my shoes cost $160! ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY DOLLARS. Monday, March 19, 2012. I haven't had the most successful few weeks. Besides not keeping track of anything I ate, I haven't exercised in over 2 weeks. TWO WEEKS, people. All the hard work I did for months is steadily fading away. We have all been sick in one way or another, my husband was gone for a week for work, and I've just been trying to survive. Friday, March 2, 2012. It's hard to put into words how difficult this past week has been for my emotions, my heart and my body. I haven't had the time or the energy to even sit down and blog until now, and actually, I didn't feel much like sharing until now. Thursday, February 16, 2012. I almost didn't do it. I almost asked for a "gimme" this week after my failed attempt to get back on track. I didn't want to see the damage because, let's be honest, I didn't really stand a chance this week - my girly times were approaching AND we had 3 days of Valentine's parties {READ: Candy bags} to get through? Yeah The fail on that was epic. The damage is done, though. 158.8. I'm not back in the 160s. I managed to stick only to Hersey Kisses for the chocolate I craved.

Thursday, February 23, 2012. I was going to photograph my number on the scale this morning and post it, but then I remembered that it's been about 9 weeks since my last pedicure and I didn't want to make my toe ugliness public. So, today is just another plain old report. Officially, my weight loss is at 9.8 pounds. So close to 10 that I can taste it! I cheated earlier this week and I was as low as 152, and I'm starting to think that I'm going to have to make some adjustments to how I eat when I run.
