This WordPress.com site is the bee's knees. February 15, 2015. February 15, 2015. Yesterday we drove out to Austwick and parked outside the pretty church before setting off on our latest adventure. We walked down the hill towards Settle before turning off the road onto Wood Lane. I stopped briefly to admire the view down the pretty little river. We then came across a pretty little water fall which was also marked on the map. We went down to it and sat for a while eating crisps and talking about the f...

This WordPress.com site is the bee's knees. March 8, 2015. March 9, 2015. Yesterday we parked up in Helwith Bridge near the pub and walked down the road towards Austwick. The were some fab views of Dry Rigg Quarry from here where we would soon be headed. After a short while we turned left and walked up a muddy track towards Lower Bark House where we turned right and walked through the farmyard, back down to the road. 2 thoughts on “ Helwith and Horton.
