Thursday, October 24, 2013. The kids and I were able to spend most of July and some of August visiting family in Utah. These are some of our adventures. Hunter had called my dad a few weeks before we came out and the conversation went something like this. H: Pa, You're an inventor, right? H: Can you invent something for me? Pa: Sure Hunter. What is it? H: It's a creature power suit from Wild Kratts? Pa: What's Wild Kratts? Pa: Okay, I'll do that. What is a creature power suit? My face would stay the same.

Friday, March 28, 2014. 4 Generations at Disneyland. We had to get one last use out of our season passes before they expired. My dad and grandma joined us. We had a blast! This has got to be the funniest picture. The longer you stare the funnier it gets. Mckinley is excited and can hardly contain herself. My grandma managed to cover her hair so she didn't get it wet. Thursday, May 14, 2015. This year right before my birthday my dad was hospitalized with a most severe case of pancreatitis. We didn't know if he was going to survive. He was in terrible pain 24 hours a day. I couldn't stand the thought of him in the hospital and being two states away. So I hopped in the car with Mckinley and Madelynn and we drove to Utah to surprise him. He gave me the best present and came home the day before my birthday. My family gave me a birthday party while I was in town.

Wednesday, May 29, 2013. The first day I was on my own with all three for the first half of the day. This was before we left the hotel. Turns out that it wasn't too bad. My family got in earlier than I had expected, and we had a great time! Madelynn had to sleep in a crib while we were there. She called it her cage. Thursday, May 14, 2015. She wasn't so sure at first. We got a lot of pictures with grumpy faces. She quickly warmed up when she saw the decorations. Thank heaven for Erik. I was so sick and he stayed up late decorating). She was so happy once she realized the presents were for her. We went to the zoo with our friends, the Snelsons. The kids were so much fun to watch. Here they were talking with a keeper about caring for the animals. The whole trip she was so concerned to see if giraffes have eyebrows.

Sunday, June 2, 2013. Tuesday May 21st started out like any other day. Hunter was at school: I had the girls, and we were going grocery shopping. I had just pulled into Costco and my phone beeped. No phone call, but a voicemail. It's Hunter's school. They NEVER call while he's in school. Hunter had fallen at recess and wouldn't walk on his leg. We waited, but not too long. The verdict: small fracture on his growth plate and a pretty severe sprain. Waiting on the x-ray. And figured them out quickly.

Saturday, November 9, 2013. Last Christmas as one of our gifts, Erik's parents gave the entire family a trip to Lake Tahoe, and we were finally able to go in August. I think it's safe to say that the entire family enjoyed it, and we all want to do it again. From the second we got there the kids had dug themselves into the sand, and we had a hard time getting them out of it. The kids loved having their cousins all around them all the time. If we're being honest, I miss them being that close too.

Sunday, January 20, 2013. We bought our first house! We couldn't be happier. Yes, if it looks like the house we were renting, you're partially right. It's the same floor plan, just reversed. We got an amazing deal since we bought a short sale. Considering, The house was in great shape. But, there were somethings that needed to be fixed, and my dad was gracious enough to be our handyman for the week. I swear we went to Home Depot at least twice a day. The kids had a lot of fun.
