Monday, February 27, 2012. Last Thursday, Blake and I went to a huge consignment sale called Tot Swap. It's in an old, empty Giant building; the amount of space the sale takes up is incredible. They had everything from used strollers, pack-n-plays, swings, high chairs to games, clothes and outdoor play equipment. We got some really good deals- still spent a lot of money but nothing compared to what would have been if we had bought them new! Here are some of the things we got. Baby Bjorn Active Carrier.

Monday, February 13, 2012. Blake's car has been on the brink of dying for a good year and a half! We have been putting off getting a new one and trying to drive it until it died. He had a 1997 Toyota 4Runner and it 204,000 miles on it! The check engine light came on again last week and we knew we had to really buy a new one instead of putting in another $500 into it. Sunday, February 5, 2012. Most importantly, we had our 20 week ultrasound Friday and everything looked great. My doctor couldn't be happier with how everything is going. She told Blake that I was a model patient- great blood pressure and weight gain and I have nothing in the middle my chart which is where they put all the high risk information in. Gives you the ingredients to make a stellar meal. You need to order in advance it looks like but I haven't tried it out yet. If Books are more your thing. He's Just Not That Into You: The No-Excuses Truth to Understanding Guys. By Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccilo. Date like a Man. By Myreah Moore and Jodie Gould. One thing that I took away from this book was that men are looking for independent women, not the story book heroine that needs rescuing. The other unique part of this book is the " pair and spare philosophy. There are also some good first date tips like go out for just coffee or lunch, never on a Friday or Saturday night.
