She's still a little unsure of her footing but was starving and ate what little I was told to give her. They sent the tumor off (where exactly is "off"? And we'll hear in a few days. Monday, August 11, 2014. Dangnabbit but it got better! What do you want to know first? The week started wonderfully because one of my BFF's, Kathy, came to spend the night with me! She arrived early Sunday evening and left late Monday afternoon. We talked and laughed, ate and laughed, and shopped and laughed! What more could girlfriends want! He was hateful and rude! Well, I called them. First of all, there were so many "options" of what to press for help, the last choice was press "12"! So began my wait!

Wednesday, February 26, 2014. What can I say about. The snow and the cold! It just keeps coming. This morning it is -5! I have to force the dogs to go outside. Poor Maggie's arthritis keeps her cautious most of the time, but she is really struggling to walk around outside these days. Nutty's little short legs makes it quite difficult for her to find just the right spot! I swear I do believe these piles of snow will still be here in June! So much for that weekend! Monday, November 10, 2014. I have eight pillows on my bed, and I sleep on ONE! Yes, it looks beautiful, but why did I think it was necessary? For the past week, when I wake up, I find her quite cozy in the midst of them sleeping soundly. NOOOOOOOOOOO! These are not doggie pillows, they are not for lounging upon, they don't look good covered in brown dog hair, and the beading on two of them is not designed for her weight! Tuesday, January 28, 2014. It's been a while. Yes, it has! And I have been so busy thinking and praying and praying and thinking. In April, Michigan grandson Garrett will be 16 and there's already a pick-up truck (what else? I wouldn't trade this experience for anything. It's been wonderful, and my heart is full. I have been blessed in so many ways by TR Baker. He has been my roommate, my heavy lifter, my yardman, and on many occasions, my "grounder"! You can do this! That's a phrase I tell myself often!
