Into December - If I could paint a 1000 words
http://lepeintre.livejournal.com/56154.html
If I could paint a 1000 words. The first weekend of December I think we over booked a bit. Saturday, we met early at St. Mary's to run the Jingle Bell Run 5K. We had not prepared for the run at all, so it was a partial run / partial walk. Unfortunately, I lost my key somewhere between my car and her car, so that put a little damper on it. I emailed the race director afterwards, and it was turned in. Thank goodness! Last Thursday, we continued the Christmas fun at Colonial's Christmas Sweet, which. Posted...

Where does the time go??? - Sara's rambling thoughts
http://mcsarac.livejournal.com/21293.html
May 31st, 2007 @ 11:21 pm. Where does the time go? Tomorrow starts June. Tomorrow also marks the day a good friend of mine moved to Fayetteville. It's hard to believe I've only known her for a year. In fact we both wonder how we made it through the last 20 years without the other. She's my sounding board and keeps me grounded! I had 18 kids! And now, I've been asked to be the leader of the 3rd grade choir! I'm so very excited about that! I think that's all the rambling I"ll do tonight.

Boxes! - Schmoo's Journal
http://ncschmoo.livejournal.com/110736.html
Now THAT is a big cat. July 2nd, 2014. We are starting the process of unpacking. I originally had this foolish notion that I could unpack a box at a time. Nah. I needed stuff from like 6 different boxes last night to get a computer setup working, so I dumped the remaining contents of said boxes on the floor and table. The cats. are P'd to the Off'd. I found them this morning downstairs under a bed and in a closet. Pickles then managed to run directly upstairs and behind the oven. It took ...July 2nd, 2014.

Garlic... - Schmoo's Journal

Now THAT is a big cat. November 4th, 2014. Our house smells like someone let off a garlic fogger. November 4th, 2014. That's better than the Mod Podge fog I've got going on over here! November 5th, 2014. That chicken was good though! Dinner success. :). November 5th, 2014. Better than smelling like spoiled freezer contents.

If I could paint a 1000 words. Http:/ disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2. Posted on Sep. 13th, 2014 at 09:26 am. Lol I'm so excited. I've known this was coming since, like, January. But still. So excited. Posted on Sep. 14th, 2014 01:21 am (UTC). I'm not sad.yeah I would have preferred that they just add a new ride vs replacing one, but in general I like new rides better than old, tired ones. Posted on Sep. 15th, 2014 03:50 pm (UTC). December trip to Wilmington - If I could paint a 1000 words
http://lepeintre.livejournal.com/56697.html
If I could paint a 1000 words. December trip to Wilmington. The weekend before Christmas, G and I took advantage of holiday time and light crowds for a trip to Wilmington. G introduced me to the many highlights of Front Street, and enjoyed seeing it herself during the off season. We also made a side trip to Wrightsville Beach to test the water temp. Hurricane Sandy had eroded the beach quite a bit, leaving a two foot cliff of sand near the dunes. The best photo ops were under the pier. Suite pics Al :).

Renovating the kitchen - If I could paint a 1000 words
http://lepeintre.livejournal.com/57069.html
If I could paint a 1000 words. I have taken the next step on my kitchen renovations! After much deliberation, I chose Quartz, colored Olive Rust, for my counter tops. I was quite skeptical of the color until it was actually installed. I mean - it's call Olive Rust - really? I chose to save $500 by taking out the old counters myself, and that wasn't too bad with friends' help. I also spent a long time picking and choosing a new sink, faucet, disposal, and even drains. The sink is great!
