I mailed a request for my USI transcripts on Saturday. I just received them today. I'm glad I requested two. Official transcripts have to be in a sealed envelope. I have my application for the nursing program all stapled and ready to go. The deadline to turn it in is September 1 but I'm turning mine in tomorrow. Why wait? And in the event of a tie (hasn't happened yet), then the application turned in first gets the nod. The acceptance/rejection letters will be mailed by September 30. New to this blog?

If we went to church on Saturday night, my mom would make us a big breakfast on Sunday morning with eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage or bacon, toast.you name it. It was like a buffet only we ate everything. Everyone deserves a big breakfast every once in awhile. But it doesn't have to be in the morning. Thursday, September 18, 2008. The kids sledded down the hill in the backyard and Jason and I cleared the driveway behind the van. The rest of the day we played Lego Batman. 5 Burtons and 1 dog. Wednesday, April 23, 2008. Luke's first T-ball game 4-20-2008. This is Luke's first ever plate appearance in T-ball. (Listen to the crowd response.). Luke fielded at the pitcher's position. He fielded a lot of hits. People called him "the Vacuum" because of how he pulled in all of the balls hit to him. She scored her first basket in a game and managed to score another two baskets despite only playing half of the game. She also had at least three good steals and some assists. 5 Burtons and 1 dog. Tuesday, February 3, 2009. Storm Video and Pictures. As promised, here is a video of the tree on fire. This was one of ignitions in the middle of a series. It got progressively bigger each time it reignited before finally blowing out the power. I was no longer videoing since I was running to get a fire extinguisher at that point. And a few pictures, some of the beauty and some of the beast of a mess I have to clean up. I'll post ones with the kids later. That fire is crazzzzzy.

Life's Great

Life is great, but, my question is, "Will it ever slow down? I have been told by many great wise women that is doesn't. You just have more kids and grandkids to keep you busy.
