Follow us as we embark on our second adoption adventure! Saturday, January 19, 2008. China, Day 1 - Rest, rest, rest. Today was a low-key day. We spent most of the day at the hotel and did a bit of shopping. We went to Carre-Four (similar to Wal-Mart) twice today. Some of our interesting discoveries there were: Shrimp-flavored pretzels, Mexican Chicken Tomato Potato Chips and Chinese New Year socks for me. Friday, January 18, 2008. The jet lag may last awhile! We got to our hotel yesterday evening, went ...

Follow us as we embark on our second adoption adventure! Tuesday, January 8, 2008. Lots of people have been asking us where we are going in China and if it's close to Sarah Grace's orphanage. Here's a map of China to give you an idea. China is roughly the size of the United States. We will start in Beijing (arriving on Jan 18) in the northeastern part of China. We will be there for the weekend sightseeing and trying to adjust to the 13-hour time difference. 9 days and counting! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Adventure Continues!: A Full Day
http://wigginsadoption2.blogspot.com/2008/01/full-day.html
Follow us as we embark on our second adoption adventure! Saturday, January 26, 2008. Yesterday was a full day. We started out as a family at the breakfast buffet, which was nice. Many days we have had to eat in shifts because Sarah Grace wakes up earlier than Caroline. Yesterday we went together though. The breakfast buffet is amazing! I'll be disappointed to go back to our usual breakfasts at home. I've grown use to an elaborate breakfast. Thank you for your continued prayers! Angie, Andy and family,.

God sets the lonely in families. Psalm 68:6. October 14, 2010. 8220;In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.”. I love that our God can lead us where He wants us to go even when we think we are headed another direction. We thought we had this all planned out! God has this all covered and it’s so fun to have a front row seat to watch it! This entry was posted in Uncategorized. October 14, 2010 at 9:36 pm. How exciting to think that it won’t be long. Now until you hold Anna!

Follow us as we embark on our second adoption adventure! Friday, December 7, 2007. Our agency received our Letter of Acceptance yesterday! We will receive it by Fed-Ex today, sign it and overnight it back to the agency. I hope the snow doesn't cause a Fed Ex delay! Then we wait for our Travel Approval (TA). It should arrive in 2-4 weeks. Our agency anticipates that we will travel mid-January. We are rejoicing at our house! Thank you God for sustaining us during the wait. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
