The Wilde Family: January 2011

http://www.wildefam.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html

Friday, January 7, 2011. I don't know if it is the great Colorado mountains that surround us or what, but this year Brandon was determined to cut down our own Christmas tree. Forget the fact that he started mentioning this goal after. Our artificial tree was put up! With his excitement of relaying the fact that a permit to cut a tree down was only $8 and that the tree opportunity was endless, what else could I do, but help him fulfill this goal? Anyway, we were off - freshly cut Christmas tree and all!

The Wilde Family: September 2010

http://www.wildefam.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html

Tuesday, September 28, 2010. These boys are mine? What can I say! I absolutely love these 2 little guys. I realize I may be a bit biased, but I think they are the cutest, funniest, smartest little guys out there! Sometimes I look at them during the day and am taken back. Two thoughts usually come to mind.I look at them and think these boys are really mine? Even after 4 years of being a mommy, I am amazed that I have been blessed with these little guys and sometimes feel like an impostor. We a busy fun fa...

Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Happy (late) Valentines Day! I love Valentine's Day. Sure some people may say it's just a silly "Hallmark Holiday," but I love that there is a day about LOVE. Anyway, I still had the boys in red (because Lincoln told me red is the color for love) and tried to take some pictures.Lincoln still made little Valentine's cards for his little friends.we managed to make heart sugar cookies a couple of days before.and we still had a FHE. I love and adore my 3 little guys so much!

The Wilde Family: December 2010

http://www.wildefam.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html

Friday, December 10, 2010. So Much To Be Thankful For. This past semester Brandon has had an assignment to teach a class once a month in Grand Junction. For the most part, we all went along for the ride and swam in the pool, played at the park, hung out with my brother Jon and his family, and walked around the mall while Brandon worked! The boys loved seeing their cousins and playing with them, and even sledding at the park thanks to a HUGE snow storm! And help each other out. Eli and Elizabeth.cute ...

the stikas: Family Christmas Parties

http://thestikas.blogspot.com/2013/01/family-christmas-parties.html

Sunday, January 20, 2013. The family Christmas parties are my favorite traditions. Stika family Christmas is always held on Christmas eve. It is a laid back affair. The storm at the point of the Mt. almost kept us from it. The kids run upstairs to see the magical snow village, eat yummy food, and enjoy Grammy Pat's great talent of gift giving. Wonderful memories for years to come- on both sides. Thank you for being such a great hostess. February 5, 2013 at 2:44 PM. Oh I loved that Christmas party! Awesom...

Wednesday, January 8, 2014. The Christmas letter I never wrote. I did manage to send some Christmas cards but no letter included and since most of the year wasn't documented in the blog here are our updates:. Rowan loves cozy. This girl asks for snuggle time. She's quick to smile and says funniest things. "Double what! Ben turned two in October. He's a man a few words but they are quite effective. My favorite is when I tell him that I love him he just answers, "too". He can work his twinkle e...

Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Hey Mikey, he likes it! First time trying food.). If I hang close he loves the exersauser for a good 5-10 mins. Everything Row says right now is so adorable. I need hold you." (when she wants to be picked up). Oh honey, it's okay." (as she pats her dolly, or talks clara). I need cozy, I need cozy." (when she wants to be tucked in to our bed). No-no, I love you buddy."(she calls noah no-no). I love you so much.". I need my daddy. (always). She loves giving her babies baths. Grandm...

the stikas: Winter break Fun

http://thestikas.blogspot.com/2013/01/winter-break-fun.html

Tuesday, January 22, 2013. Josh made a great effort to make the week after Christmas special for the kids. I was pretty sick so it meant even more. He took the kids swimming several times, sledding, frosty runs, and when I felt a little better we ventured out for some local adventures. Breakfast at kneaders, aquarium, bowling, scheels, and movies. 2012 was a special year. Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone. A brilliant and generous way to spend the school vacation. Sunday, February 19, 2012. She twinkles. While watching a show, reading a story, running, dancing she is twinkling. Her whole face lights up when she smiles. I love how much enjoyment she takes in the little things.a silly fishy balloon stuck on the ceiling, being chased, thrown on the bed, taking a bath, have a story read, getting a treat. She doesn't love loud noise, jetted tubs, horn beeps, blenders, new people, having her teeth brushed. Happy 2nd Birthday my sweet girl. I love, love, love you! So the...

the stikas: Christmas Day

http://thestikas.blogspot.com/2013/01/christmas-day.html

Sunday, January 20, 2013. Morning of, Noah woke up Clara first to tell her Santa brought Rebecca (the American girl doll of her dreams) and then woke us to say he got a mountain bike with TWO shocks! Row getting on pajamas on Christmas eve. Ben loved his radio flyer. He can open the door, turn the music on, and cruise around. He's smiling now but pretty possessive one of the only thing he can call his own. The gloves and dirt bike shirt were a big hit too. Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone.

http://thestikas.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html

Friday, March 16, 2012. Yes, I let them run around like little rag-a-muffins most of the time but they are still pretty cute to me. While josh was in hong kong. Beck came to play, more like work. I was supposed to be out visiting her, but alas, the trip was trumped for China. Kids were sick most of the week (like deep suctioned, breathing treatments etc). We did sneak in a few activities before we knew how sick they were. Clara did her first scripture in church, she was so brave! Tuesday, March 6, 2012.

Friday, October 14, 2011. Noah turned six. I think because he's my oldest I am always looking at him as such a big boy. I recently looked back on other past birthday posts and kept thinking.he was so little, how did I think he was so big.I'm sure I'll do the same with this one. I adore this boy. If I am not in the same room with him every few minutes I get a call, "Mom, where are you? Bounce house of fun. Nice kids, yummy treats. Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Wednesday, January 30, 2013. Rowan's first haircut was so fun. Clara was getting her pumped about it all day sharing all the perks of cookie cutters.movies, suckers, balloons, and sparkles in your hair. We left the length to enjoy those ringlet curls as long as we can. Clara opted for a shoulder length cut to help manage the pain of brushing those long tresses. Ben had fun too. Monday, December 5, 2011. The eve of thanksgiving I spent baking with Lissy. Nothing like baking with your sis to make you feel a little piece of home for the holidays. I even did name places! Part of the prep team. Stika Family a new friend - Josh's crew. Thanksgiving morning I made the kids watch the Macy's day parade for a little bit and eat Chex mix (seemed more like a Broadway Review.would it hurt to show a marching band NBC? Some traditions must be past down. Sunday, December 4, 2011. The first sno...

Wilde Fairy Transitions

Friday, August 14, 2015. Step out, step outside, listen to the sounds of nature, feel the wind brush your shoulders, take some deep breaths to let out the stressors of life, get up close and personal with a bug or a flower. Whatever you do, let your five senses open to help you experience the wonders of nature. Saturday, August 1, 2015. What are our core values underneath the surface fluff? Do we like who we see in the mirror? Are we living our lives ethically and with integrity both at work and at home?

Surviving in the Wilde

Surviving in the Wilde. To be in your children's memories tomorrow, you must be in their lives today.". Sunday, January 18, 2015. If there could were such a thing as virtual dust, it would measure roughly two years thick on this sadly outdated blog. I love to write, and even more than that I love to go back and read about our family. So why did I stop blogging? It happened very abruptly (obviously, I was in the midst of a countdown for crying out loud! I came here determined to instantly make a great man...
