You need to take care traveling through Dungog as the signs directing motorists to Chichester Dam are not large. Travel straight ahead on the road from Paterson / Clarence Town until you reach a T-intersection (Hooke St). Turn left and veer right at the top of the hill towards Chichester Dam. Stay on the bitumen and do not. Turn left at signs to Gresford or Salisbury ( The Barringtons Guest House. Turnoff). Check-in is at the Barringtons Country Retreat which is just over 19 km from Dungog.

Nest 1 from below. Close to nature with spectacular views. Nests 1 and 2 are secluded on the high northern boundary of the Wilderness Estate. They overlook the rest of the estate and the rolling green hills back towards Dungog. It is the only area on the resort where koalas have been sighted and where the sweet tunes of bellbirds can be heard. Enjoy your romantic weekend in these peaceful, natural surroundings.

Nest 3 from below. Peaceful seclusion for a romantic holiday. Nests 3 and 4 are hidden between valleys of eucalypts high on the northern boundary. No other cabins on the Wilderness Estate can be seen from these cabins. Stroll to the bottom of the hill to enjoy a quiet picnic next to one of the estate's dams. The tennis court and pool are a ten minute walk away.
