Back in the fast paced Cusco, I realised salsa is a necessity! I started lessons but with no Latin blood running through my veins realised I would never be able to move like Shakira! Monday, February 7, 2011. DISCOVER basic wages, alcholism and laundry. Firstly, where does the money come from? It certainly takes a lot to feed 40 mouths 3 times a day, send all the kids to school, TAFE and University, buy Birthday and Christmas gifts for them all and pay all the necessary bills. Saturday, April 9, 2011. DISCOVER Hammocks, Snakes and Straw Beds. I only understood when we walked through her garden to my room, on the way she introduced me to her countless chickens and roosters, three dogs, two cats, and a huge boa! But despite the fact it was in the middle of a zoo my room was perfect! The neighbours also had a little lady dog which enjoyed the company of Bilmas male dogs. Tuesday, December 21, 2010. DISCOVER Hand-Drawn Maps, Paper Hats and Peanut Butter Sandwiches. Finally reaching the last stretch of the climb, I joined my faster climbing partners, and waited for the slower. As I looked back down at this amazing example of God’s work, I thanked him for this awesome opportunity. It was too much for Jenny and I and we started giggling uncontrollably, obviously disturbing our Peruvian neighbours who have no sense of personal space and snuggled right up against our sides.

Tuesday, March 1, 2011. Spending over 4 months in Peru I decided to do this wonder properly, so I set off with a bunch of other crazy travellers on the famous Inca Trail to Machu Pichu.
