Foam core sheet and cut out your desired letters. Foam brush [which i somehow forgot to photograph :)]. Then you just apply mod podge. Lay down your scraps, one piece at a time, any which way. Overlapping a little as you go so no foam core peeks through. And mod podge over the top. That's it.you're done! And then these lovelies. Fun paper art...

I have a tutorial for you today. This is one of my faves actually. It's no mystery that i collect and love vintage luggage. I'm drawn to it. :). Butwhist doing a bit of shuffling things around. Tuesday, September 10, 2013. I really don't know where the time went. Last thing i know.we were starting august. And here we are smack dab in the middle of september. My apologizes for my absence. :). This little cutie started 1st grade. That's all day folks. We've hit the big time now. She gets to take a lunch and everything. :). Things in our house have been shuffled around. Fun paper art was made and added. It's that time of year you know. And awesome lime green vintage-y crates couldn't be pasted up.

Monday, June 24, 2013. Upcycle: vintage mirror frame to chalkboard]. I hope that you all had a lovely weekend! Todayi have yet another diy/upcycle post for you. I found what i can only assume was a large vintage mirror frame in my neighbor's trash. But i knew that it had potential. I wanted a large vintagey looking chalkboard for my girlies fore quite a long time. So i painted it aqua. And painted the mdf board with chalkboard paint. Monday, June 17, 2013. Today i bring you a solution to that tricky wall space. Where two walls meet.in the corner of a room. I give you exhibit a.[aka: the before]. Not bad, but uninteresting. Then i had an idea. And it instantly added color and whimsy to the space! I just made regular tissue paper pom poms.like in this tutorial. But omitted the yellow center.
