Sometimes, I feel that way. :) Kaely and Rose got after me yesterday for not writing, so here I am. What's happened in the last month of my life? I was welcomed to Texas by a great big Texas-Thunderstorm (a real thunderstorm), and a family who loves me! Saturday, June 6, 2009. The Price of Freedom. Today, June 6, is the 65th anniversary of the Allied invasion of Europe, known as D-day, which was the beginning of the end of World War II. Beginning at 6:30 am on June 6, 1944, over 150,000 American, British and Canadian troops landed along a 50-mile stretch of the beaches of Normandy, France to finish a war they did not start. Monday, June 29, 2009. The Many Faces of Me, Sandy. So on Saturday we spent all day singing and recorded a whole bunch of songs onto CD. We flew Jeri in from Denver, and the whole family got together to sing. It was so fun! But we were also exhausted by the time we were done! And so at some random point, I was making strange faces, and Rosie decided to take pictures of them. Little did I know, she was actually taking a VIDEO! My final words were, "And you got me with.
