Online translaters are for wusses. Thursday, March 30, 2006. You know how the "coolest" words always have bad connotations. Sure, that may be a gross over-statement, but then I couldn't get anything to make sense for what I am about to present. For example, I present to you the Hall of Fame of words from this year's calendar. Park the biscuit - To sit down. Jank-hole - The privy (toilet) - I mean come on this one is awesome. Square dinkham - Okay. seriously it means O.K. Posted by Der Arbeiter at 8:22 AM.

Online translaters are for wusses. Monday, June 12, 2006. Holding up the cross. Would you take the place of this man,. Would you take the nails from his hands". Naturally a mature Christian response is NO! Not only do I have no business even considering the good I could have done with the cross, an affirmative response mocks the fundamentals of Christianity. Would I? Now for the glorious part. Would you have taken [Christ's] place? No Could you have even if you really wanted to. No. Why? The prayer cloth...

Online translaters are for wusses. Monday, October 09, 2006. I suspect that the following subject will find it's conclusion in multiple parts, but for now I will have to content myself with writing an opening foray. But hold on a moment. Are you saying that I buy music because the artist subconcisouly told me to? Be on guard, Christians, for the battle will come to you, but do not fear the end, for therein lies the most glorious part. Posted by Der Arbeiter at 2:26 AM. View my complete profile. The poetr...

Arbeite und Hoffe: April 2007

Online translaters are for wusses. Sunday, April 15, 2007. Which robber are you? And the robbers who were crucified with him also reviled him in the same way. (Matt 27:44). Those who were crucified with him also reviled him. (Mark 15:32). Both are scant mentions, and both are rather negative. Along the same lines, but with no tone whatsoever, John simply mentions the criminals in passing (There they crucified him, and with him two others, one on either side, and Jesus between them. John 19:18). 41And we ...

Online translaters are for wusses. Tuesday, November 07, 2006. What the People Don't Know is Killing Them. I must admit that when I first heard about the Ted Haggard situation I felt more uninformed than shocked. Here was a man whom I had never heard of until this news story made headlines. His saga had captivated (I think it's an apt word) the media with its bizarre concoction of male prostitutes, drugs and lies. Frankly, all he really seems to be missing was the rock n' roll. Needs a Saviour for what?

An Englishman in North London: Letter from Zimbabwe
http://thechillcoat.blogspot.com/2008/12/letter-from-zimbabwe.html
An Englishman in North London. Sunday, December 21, 2008. The following letter was posted on the ConservativeHome blog today. Reposted here without permission but I doubt that's too important given the subject matter. At Christmas it's good to remind ourselves that millions of people live in the squalor into which Jesus was born 2000 years ago. I reckon that these are the last days of TKM and ZPF. The darkest hour is always before dawn. I ask that you all pray for us in the way that you know how, and let...

An Englishman in North London: 24
http://thechillcoat.blogspot.com/2008/11/24.html
An Englishman in North London. Sunday, November 23, 2008. Another year, another birthday. Tomorrow I will definitely be in my mid-20s (! Which seems quite old compared to where I've come from. (I suppose it also seems quite young compared to where I'm going.) It's a good chance to reflect on the year that's passed, and also for more years in the past. Here are one or two things that have happened in each of the last 9 years. 15: became a Christian. 16: passed GCSEs, got baptised. 23 November, 2008 22:30.

Fingerpainting the Sky: The End... Sort Of.
http://wide-eyed-child.blogspot.com/2008/04/end-sort-of.html
Tales from a Spirit-filled life lived colourfully. Tuesday, April 15, 2008. The End. Sort Of. This week has been interesting and very rewarding. It's the first week in a long time that I can say convincingly that I've put in a good work effort. I studied hard for my exam, I worked like a dog yesterday and today, and last night I was even in bed and asleep before 11 PM - nothing short of a miracle. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
