Fueled by residual snowboarding adrenaline and patriotic fervor, Brandon Covey and Elizabeth Horowitz got engaged. Happy Birthday, George Washington! Saturday, February 16, 2013. Chickens coming in May. Saturday, February 9, 2013. Getting more blossoms daily. The tomatoes have also started to set fruit. I'll be starting tomato and pepper plants for the summer garden this weekend.

Donna delivered one of her famous apple pies yesterday, so Steve didn't get candles on a cake - but the PIE is heavenly. mmmm. Perhaps the girls will get a cake tomorrow?
