Sea Kayak Angler: Scarborough to Hayburn Wyke
http://seakayakangler.blogspot.com/2014/11/scarborough-to-hayburn-wyke.html
Monday, 3 November 2014. Scarborough to Hayburn Wyke. It was difficult to find the enthusiasm to load the car on Sunday morning, it was raining stair rods and the forecast wasn't that much better. I'm just so glad we did, on arrival in North Bay-Scarborough, the day was much brighter. Dave and Marion where having breakfast sat outside the beach front cafe and we were soon joined by Roger who had made the long journey from Lincoln. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sea Kayak Angler: June 2010
http://seakayakangler.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Monday, 21 June 2010. Sharkatag and the Mull of Galloway. Had a wonderful long weekend with good friends fishing. Highlight of the weekend for me was a very quick and dynamically planned trip around the Mull head, conditions were good, tides were right, I was in the right place at the right time, only one thing to do - go for it. Sunday, 13 June 2010. A Splash In the Bay. First off onto the end of the Brigg - a huge rock outcrop that sticks out into the north sea. Wreck Fishing from Kayak. Hi and welcome...

Sea Kayak Angler: March 2010
http://seakayakangler.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Monday, 29 March 2010. Out Of The Comfort Zone. Weather was looking just a little borderline yesterday with fairly strong SW to W winds, forecast was for 4 occasionally 5, dropping to 3 later. We surmised that if we tucked right in under the North Yorkshire cliffs we would be able to achieve a nice A to B journey sheltered from the worst of the weather. The small wavelets soon began building into surf able waves. We rounded the corner expecting shelter but found the wind was somehow cycloning around ...

Sea Kayak Angler: September 2010
http://seakayakangler.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 21 September 2010. With another day of strong winds predicted it was decided on a safe launch at Kelsey Gardens, Burstwick. Accompanied by son Ant, we were in search of the lakes predators. We thrashed the water all day with just about every lure in the box but no pike could be tempted, we are assured pike are in the lake. This being our third attempt for these big fish on this particular water it started to turn us nuts. Monday, 13 September 2010. Fi Gets to Grips With the New P&H Delphin.

Sea Kayak Angler: Ailsa Craig
http://seakayakangler.blogspot.com/2014/10/ailsa-craig.html
Friday, 17 October 2014. September and I took myself off for a mini-adventure to this lump of granite. Its not the first time I've made the 14km crossing but its the first time I've journeyed across alone and the first time wild camping on the island. The forecast was excellent and improving, a great time to do the trip and explore. On my return the following day a lovely old couple came out to greet me, they were concerned with my welfare as they had witnessed me leave on the previous day. Sea Kayak Bri...

Tuesday, 28 October 2014. Four Star Canoe Training with Ray Goodwin. Last weekend saw me travelling across to North Wales to further my development and experience in Canoeing (Open Boating) with Ray. The course was run over two days, one day on open water and one day on moving water. Saturday dawned and after a short briefing in a cafe we headed to the shores of Llyn Tegid. Many open water skills were covered and much fun and learning was had by all, the squally showers were all but forgotten. Of course ...
