In Primary we made these simple book marks for the moms for Mother's Day. They were pretty simple except for one small problem. Then ends of the cord kept unraveling. The more the kids touched the ends, the more they would unravel. The big kids had no problems doing it, but the little ones had sweaty little fingers that just had to touch it. We also made cards. A few of the things that make me smile and perhaps some of the things that don't. Saturday, June 30, 2012. The boy's went fishing on Papa's new fishing boat. Ned caught his first fish! I wouldn't be doing my job as a Mom if I didn't share embarrassing photo's of my boys. Labels: Misc. Kids. Cas' first birthday was on May 6th, 2012! We had a small family birthday party, with a Monster theme, because Cas is my little Monster! When we do this fun science project again, we'll use less water and more oil.

Livin' the Good Life. Wednesday, September 18, 2013. My dad has been getting notes from people who worked with him. My mom has been passing them my way. Many of them remind him of how he likes to say, "People are more important than money, or schedules, or things." So true. I remember pulling up to his house with him and my kids from somewhere. We were unloading the kids, and I said I'd finish the unloading the "things" in a little while. He asked how I knew that. Well, he taught me! Mary Ann and Blake.

We went to the Alamo, you can't go to San Antonio and not see the Alamo! Actually, we let Jimmy skip the last 3 days of school. It was suppose to only be one day, but the school added on two extra days, and we didn't even have any snow days! It was just mean. So we had to get some education in to make up for the loss of valuable school time! He said that they were booked...
