Saturday, May 15, 2010. This Week on the Farm. The weather is beautiful and we're having a great time as a family here on the farm. Lily is now as big as Huck when he was born- 10 pounds- and she just had her 2 month birthday! She's even starting to coo and laugh, it's so sweet. And Huck can drive Uncle Will's backhoe by himself, he can get a lot done! Be sure to click on a photo to get a closeup! In the COMMUNITY GARDEN. Napping in the Mountains. This Week on the Farm. Thursday, January 7, 2010. It's official- we're back on the farm. And we've been welcomed personally by the resident cougar with sheep kill #2 -last night- 100 feet from our bedroom. Sorry for the graphic nature of the photo but I couldn't resist. Monday, January 4, 2010. Beautiful day in Newport. Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Like Mother like Son. It's been wonderful having three generations of girls here. Party time! And work time- the house and yard look great! We've had a great time with Grandma Sandie these three weeks. Lily has nearly doubled in age and the house looks transformed! We have had a lot of fun and we'll miss her. Friday, April 9, 2010. A jar of writing utensils and the little clown i found on the ground:keeps me happy and mismatched silly. Drinking jar and a 1968 painting i found. Greenwaters park is full of campers, bikes, tents and more tents. There are demo vans from lots of companies-GT, Pivot, Mongoose, Mavic and more. The beer garden is always a hit once the sun gets low, and the bikes are back home for the evening, and it's time to recollect the best parts of the good day. Links to this post.

We hit a couple short patches climbing up the trail towards the meadow.
