Wow, I can't believe it's been a whole year! And now here we are, a year later, and he is absolutely thriving! He is about three months behind physically, but other than that he is so smart! Tuesday, 23 March 2010. About the country I live in. There may not be a stable political scene (at least not stable to us), and we may be just out of the official grips of recession. But this I can all swallow. To think of the women in prison in Afghanistan for "crimes against morality" (daring to leave their husbands home without his permission), the women who are married off at 12 and abused to the point that they set themselves on fire in desperation, and who risk their lives to go to school.
