We have meetings every week. Monday, October 22, 2012. I went through some old artworks and threw a bunch out. I was actually pretty fond of this Sailormoon piece from sixth grade. I'm pretty sure these outfits are accurate to what the characters wore in the show. Notice Sailor Uranus wearing boy's clothing. Sailor Saturn is actually cut out of this photo, but it was appropriate that she was off to the side, since she was always the outsider. I plan to put up an actual website in the near future.

Friday, February 22, 2008. SI 50th Annual Exhibition. So I see teenage girls losing their minds cuz of their idol pop star on TV sometimes. Now, I wasn't THAT bad, but it was bad. I got to meet many of the great illustrators that I have bookmarked on my browser, and I was more than excited to talk to them. Hearing their advices, how they made it, etc. was just amazing. I was pretty much dead tired the whole day, but now that I'm home, I can't even sleep because I'm still so excited about the whole thing.

William Loves Lego

Monday, September 2, 2013. Last night, when I was sifting through my red Lego, I decided that it might be fun to make a freestyle vehicle of some sort, all in red! This is a one person crewed cargo vessel but it has been remodeled to accept passengers as well. This is the overall look of the vehicle. The pilot's cabin opens at the top so that on can get mini figures in and out easily. There is a large door at the back of the vehicle so that large cargo can be hauled in and out easily. I've recently been really getting into macro photography so I thought it would be cool to try and recreate the effect in cg. This image was done in Maya, rendered using Vray and then comped in Nuke. This is a frame from my favourite shot that I worked on in Still Life. It was when I was first getting into nuke and by far the most complex shot I had comped at the time. It was mostly rendered in Mental Ray with the exception of the clouds and rain which were done in Vray. Comped in Nuke.
