Wednesday, October 23, 2013. I've been wanting to go apple picking ever since the weather turned fall-ish. I thought it would be fun for the kids, and I've also been craving apple pie. :). Unfortunately, even though Washington is famous for apples, the closest apple picking place is almost two hours away! Yesterday, we loaded up and drove the two hours. Monday, January 12, 2015. This week, we. Started our rocks and minerals unit in science. Went shopping at the toy store. Asher had a gift certificate burning a hole in his pocket. Took a field trip to the store to learn about budgeting. The boys had $80 (pretend) to spend and they had a list of things they had to "buy" and still stay under budget. They both did an awesome job! Watched the Seahawks advance in the finals! Aria got really into it, clapping her hands and everything. Back and Neck Pain Centers.

Tuesday, September 2, 2014. Weekly Recap: the aquarium and one last beach day. This week was the last week before school, so we had one last big beach day with all of our friends. I have given up trying to keep Aria out of the sand! Miss Aria got a new big girl car seat this week. The thing is HUGE compared to her infant seat! Asher started indoor soccer this week. Evan has done a few different sports over the years, but this is Asher's first time to do something. He was super excited and he did great! Sunday, January 5, 2014. Christmas felt extra special this year with our new little bundle of joy added into the mix. There's just something about a snuggly, sweet newborn that makes everything seem more cozy. The excitement of the older kids really made the day, too. When we got home, we opened our traditional Christmas Eve jammies. This picture cracks me up. Asher opening his new basketball shorts (I love that he's wearing his sleeping mask. lol).
