William's Early Days

Friday, December 31, 2010. Will was the early riser on Christmas this year- a shout-out at 5:30 am Apparently he knew that by mid-morning he could kick back and take it easy. For a number of years, we have been going over to my mom's house (Grandma Mary's) for Christmas Eve. We always have a great time, and the boys are always happy to have another gift-opening session (usually the third of the season). He'll Grow Into It. In late October, we took a trip down to Lincoln to check out the Children's Museum.

William's Early Days: September 2009

http://www.williamsearlydays.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html

Wednesday, September 23, 2009. Very Powerful Jedi, He Is. When Henry picked Darth Vader as his Halloween costume this year, I just couldn't resist picking up the Yoda costume for William. I think the green binky really ties the whole thing together. Wednesday, September 9, 2009. William has always enjoyed the aviary exhibit at the Omaha Zoo, but until last weekend he had always watched Henry feed the birds from the sideline. Here's William getting into the act too. Henry's Early Days: April 2007

http://henrysearlydays.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html

Tuesday, April 24, 2007. With Henry's new ability to crawl (and quite fast), he and Lucy have gotten a little closer. He enjoys chasing her around the dining room table as well as saying hello to her in her dog bed. Lucy says "welcome" in her own way. Posted by Mike @ 6:49 PM. Sunday, April 15, 2007. Henry's Early Days: January 2007

http://henrysearlydays.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html

Sunday, January 28, 2007. Twenty-Four Weeks. Lately it seems to me that (along with working on sitting up) Henry has been perfecting a number of Mike's expressions. He seems to be making the most progress in the area of cocking his eyebrows like Mike when something unexpected happens as well as mastering a whole array of Mike's pensive gazes. Here's Henry shortly after waking up from his midday nap looking oh-so-very serious in a very Mike-like way. Posted by Susan @ 9:14 PM. Monday, January 22, 2007.

Sunday, September 24, 2006. And Henry's getting larger. A little man of six weeks. Susan took Henry on a road trip to Lincoln this week. While they were there, they stopped at a baby store that had a scale- Henry's up to nine pounds, thirteen ounces! Susan does such a great job with Henry. Here she is with the aforementioned "Doggies" book. Posted by Mike @ 11:03 PM. Sunday, September 17, 2006. Staring up at the. cosmos? Henry loves his mobile (good idea Grandma Sandy! Saturday, August 26, 2006. Little fella on the move. Two weeks out. At this point, the only thing I have to offer is a ride around the block in the stroller. Henry seems to like it (that is, he falls asleep). Lucy is a fan as well. He also got back up to his birth weight this week- hello binky! Posted by Mike @ 6:27 PM. Tuesday, August 22, 2006. Henry's Early Days: October 2006

Tuesday, October 31, 2006. Henry enjoying some Halloween festivities. The awesome "Henry" pumpkin was carved for Henry by his Aunt Alison (who when complimented on her handiwork reminded me that she once won a pumpkin carving contest in Macon, Georgia when she was 12 years old so she's still got the mad skills.). Tuesday, December 26, 2006. Sitting on Top of the World. Nineteen weeks. Henry had a great time this Christmas. Aunts, uncles, cousins, grandmas, and Grandpa all accounted for. Needless to say, he had a full night's sleep (uninterrupted) after it was all done. Thanks everyone for all of your wonderful gifts. Here is Henry sitting on top of what turned out to be an ExerSaucer- he loves it. Posted by Mike @ 8:56 AM. Sunday, December 17, 2006. Posted by Susan @ 7:49 PM. Sunday, December 10, 2006.

http://henrysearlydays.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html

Wednesday, February 28, 2007. No more bath hammock. Here's Henry enjoying his bath. He seems to enjoy the bathing, which is good since he gets one every other day. He especially likes the bath toys. Posted by Mike @ 7:05 PM. Thursday, February 22, 2007. I know I have posted in this vein before, but honestly, is Henry not making the exact look Mike makes just before he is going to mock someone or something or what? It's a little frightening. Happy birthday Mike! Posted by Susan @ 1:08 PM.

Sunday, November 26, 2006. Fifteen weeks. Here is Henry with one of his favorite toys (he seems to like the taste, too). Henry is more vocal these days and has taken to periods of garbled yelling (it's pretty funny). I suppose that's how you get heard at day care. Posted by Mike @ 8:03 PM. Sunday, November 19, 2006. Thursday, May 24, 2007. Taking a Look at the Neighborhood. Here is Henry checking out the view from the new front stoop. He seems to get bigger every day. Ingrid, at day care, said that Henry, when nearing the end of his bottle, tossed it aside. She said she picked it up and began to walk away when Henry said "Ba-ba! Emphatically. She handed the bottle back to him and he finished it up. Good, I guess. Posted by Mike @ 8:24 PM. Thursday, May 17, 2007. Posted by Mike @ 8:30 PM. Thursday, May 10, 2007.

William Seavey | Books for Better, Cheaper, More Resourceful Living

Thanks for coming to my site! I write books to help you navigate the times we live in. Most would agree they are challenging from a lot of points of view. We certainly understand some of the dilemmas you face, we've faced them ourselves. The United States is a rich country, but its middle class is shrinking, and younger people are finding things tough indeed. My ancestors came to North America in the early 1600's (no typo! And I feel a strong compulsion to make a difference through my books. So stay tuned...
