My Sunday Photo 16th August 2015 - The Williams World
http://williamsworld.co.uk/2015/08/16/my-sunday-photo-16th-august-2015
My Sunday Photo 16th August 2015. This picture was taken on Thursday whilst we were on holiday in Scotland. Its the day our son turned 13 (eek a teenager) and he wanted to try his hand at clay pigeon shooting. I love that he likes to try different activities and tries his hardest in everything he does. And he thrashed his dad 10-6 in shooting the clays. 8 Thoughts on “ My Sunday Photo 16th August 2015. On August 16, 2015 at 10:20 pm. On August 16, 2015 at 10:27 pm. On August 17, 2015 at 6:20 pm. Adventures in eclectic interests. Monday, 2 January 2017. 2016 Catch Up Post. I failed to post again after the Battle of Hastings, although I have a half written post about Half Term. So, what have I been up to? Day Trips and Travel:. We'd picked up tickets to the circus for the afternoon (no photos allowed), Beloved had only been to the panto version of the circus before, and really enjoyed the 'ordinary' circus show. Afterwards we visited the Blackpool Dungeon in the evening, before finding somewhe...
Autumn Voices: The Battle of Hastings 950th Anniversary
https://autumn-voices.blogspot.com/2016/10/the-battle-of-hastings-950th-anniversary.html
Adventures in eclectic interests. Sunday, 16 October 2016. The Battle of Hastings 950th Anniversary. Every year, English Heritage hosts a reenactment of the Battle of Hastings at Battle Abbey, which is near Hastings. This year, being the closest thing to a proper round number we're likely to get (I'll be elderly, and properly so, if I'm still alive in 2066), we bought tickets. Interestingly, after having been a bright and sunny day, all day, it began to rain as King Harold died on the battlefield on Satu...

Autumn Voices: 2017 - Week One
https://autumn-voices.blogspot.com/2017/01/2017-week-one.html
Adventures in eclectic interests. Sunday, 8 January 2017. 2017 - Week One. This week I have photographed. My second subject this week was the Grade II Listed Runcorn Water Tower in Norton. Which, by the way, is surprisingly difficult to get a nice clear shot of. Not usually one to moan at trees, but. well, see for yourself! This week I have been reading. By Stella Gibbons. Okay, I wanted to give this one 2.5 stars, but Goodreads doesn't allow halves. So I gave it 3. This week we have watched. Afterwards ...
5 Family Adventures on the Gower Peninsula - Dais Like These

Family travel blog from a mummy of three. 5 Family Adventures on the Gower Peninsula. Do you ever dream of adventure but worry that it’s not possible with kids in tow? I first visited Gower aged 10 on a school trip. A group of 30 inner London school kids exposed to the fresh air, beauty and adventure. With Mr Redmond (our slightly grumpy but super adventurous teacher) we walked for miles, explored caves, clambered over cliffs to discover smugglers hideouts, and ran free on the vast beaches. At Rhossili B...

May 2015 – The adventures of the Bown family
https://twoteenagerstwocats.wordpress.com/2015/05
The adventures of the Bown family. My life with a little bit of madness. May 31, 2015. May 31, 2015. Waking up on Tuesday was even better this week knowing there was no work or school. We didn’t have a lot planned. Lauren had revision to do and Alexander had planned his week around his Xbox! On Wednesday Lauren and Alexander had their own plans, so I met up with my Mum and took her dog for a lovely long walk. It saved me running that night! On Friday, my sister Becky came down for the day. Apart from...

Parenting / Home life. A Weekend in Blackpool. May 12, 2015. Blackpool is one of those places that all should experience, it’s a bit like Marmite, you either love it or hate it! I personally love it and have been a few times in the past, but this is the first time the boys have been and I’m pleased to say that they also love it! We decided to visit on Friday (after school) and leave on Sunday afternoon, so a really quick visit and not enough to do everything that is on offer, but we gave it a good shot!

William's World
Tuesday, July 7, 2015. William is playing baseball this summer. He has never been interested in it before, but was willing to give it a try this year so we jumped on it! He has done great! He can hit the ball well, catching is a little weak, but he is also a good runner. We will keep working with him, overall he is a great player for as little experience he has! Coach Jeremy helping him get set up to bat. And there it goes! Rainbow over Yankee Stadium. See, it was a beaut! And finally a video! William LO...
