Saw a private school Foundation unit today, Observed that the only difference is that they do a lot more sport (I had to cross 3 fields to get to it! Diary of a Foundation Stage Teacher! Tuesday, 13 March 2012. I couldn't have been more wrong! Apparently we shouldn't be using the literacy session for ICT as it distracts from our Literacy objective. So much for this cross curricular push. How rediculous! Life isn't segmented into subjects and neither should the children's experiences be. What's more is the children were motivated and enjoying themselves.
