Tuesday, January 31, 2006. This took me the whole of 5 minutes to complete. Can you do any better than that? I bet you can't. Posted by Declan Coyle at 9:43 PM. Monday, January 30, 2006. Had a top weekend camping at one of the best campsites there is to offer (Voted #1 by NRMA) at Wollondilly. River Stations Bush Camping Ground. To make things even better, it is pet friendly so Fred and Budda could come along too. Check out Gav Harmon's site for more photos. Also went to Wombeyan. There is a downside....

Thursday, July 27, 2006. Left Dublin to sad goodbyes after 5 and a 1/2 weeks of expensive Guinness and traffic that would put Parramatta Road to shame. The goodbyes are always the worst bit. It was so good seeing everyone again (and Daragh for the first time) and it s amazing how quickly everyone grows up in 18 months when you doñ t see them. Sometimes I wish I was the `proper` uncle and there all the time but. Posted by Declan Coyle at 10:53 AM. View my complete profile. Take The Long Way Home.

Thursday, June 15, 2006. Me: Yea, I’ll have another beer, thanks? Steward: And for you sir? Me: I think he wants an orange juice. Steward: Are you sure? Me: Well try it and see what happens. So the steward holds up the orange juice and is greeted with a toothless grin from Octopus. He only elbowed me four times drinking it, but he was happy. The flight from Bangkok to London was uneventful, thanks to 15mg of valium. What 12 hours? Posted by Declan Coyle at 7:00 PM. Tuesday, June 06, 2006.

Tuesday, October 31, 2006. Saturday night we all went to Tharens. To join Jen for her 30th Birthday. The restaurant is a pretty cool place with hundreds of hats hanging around the walls. Everybody gets to pick one and wear it for the evening. The $25 all you can drink was a big mistake for the management, with most of us recouping it in the first 45mins. The music was good old 50’s and 60’s at the start of the night but then went into the 70’s and 80’s after dinner which had everyone up dancing. Being mi...

Tuesday, August 22, 2006. Something that made me laugh. Check out George s site here. Posted by Declan Coyle at 11:18 PM. Salar de Uyuni (Boliva). This is a true story. They are 2 couples well into their 40 s and don t speak English. We set off and hadn t gone more than 20km when the axle of the car fell off. We were stood on the side of the road for ages while they tried to fix it. I knew they wouldn t be able to but couldn t speak Spanish to tell the driver so. 1 That it was warmer. A 4X4 turned up for...
