Wonder upon Wonder. Inspired by Ordinary Treasures. Thursday, September 29, 2011. I may be crazy taking two toddlers to a nice italian place by myself, but I did and the boys were complete angels. We even got a compliment from the extremely surgically enhanced couple sitting by us. I was so ultra productive today that I decided to balance with total unproductivity this evening. I finally got new shoes. Maybe my feet won't hurt so badly. One can only hope. That's it for now. Tuesday, September 13, 2011.

Wonder upon Wonder. Inspired by Ordinary Treasures. Thursday, August 16, 2012. August 14, 2012. Tuesday, August 14th. Jason called at 1:30am. He saw police cars. Greg went outside. A shooting. Later, the news said a teenager had been shot. 7:30am- Dave called. Jane Bass died. Cathy was headed to Hospice. I hopped in the shower and headed to hospice care. Greg was taking boys to the babysitter and then going to work. Why was he out at night? Why didn’t we hear the shots? Why does a 16 year old have a gun?

It is my favorite time of day. Dusk in the summer. First, This American Life, then blasting my favorite cd. Thanks to Molly for making it for me 7 or so years ago. It makes me think of you. Our on-line archive: just for fun . Monday, June 22, 2015. Last Days of School. Due to snow days, we went to school until Tuesday, June 17th this year. Whew! But, per our weekly tradition, I made sure to drive Lilly to school on her last Friday and walk her in to her class. We had to take some selfies to commemorate. :) Love this girl. We packed up the car and hit the road for Alabama. CeeCee and Da, some of my Kentucky family, and the kids and I were headed to Birmingham to celebrate Lolly's 95th birthday. 95! Our on-line archive: just for fun . Monday, June 22, 2015. We made it home in time to celebrate Father's Day. Yay for Daddy! We have missed him this week! And were thrilled to return and give him big hugs and kisses. We even picked out a couple of presents for him while we were in AL. He got lots of hugs and kisses and QT upon our return. Much deserved - he is the best dad ever! He also had a kid-free day to play golf on Saturday in the annual "Otis Cup" with some buddies. Happy Father's Day!
