Grandma Patrick's Cinnamon Rolls. Note for yeast says 1 package yeast equals 2 1/4 teaspoons yeast. Spread in ungreased 9x13 pan (I use stoneware and spray with pam, or it sticks):. 4 cups bread cubes (use about 7 slices, not soft, not hard). 24 oz pineapple tidbits or chunks, well drained. Combine (stir until sugar mostly dissolved):. 1 cup melted margarine. 1 1/2 cups sugar (1 1/2 cups is rather sweet). Pour liquid over bread and pineapple. Bake at 325 degrees for 35-40 minutes - WATCH, burns easily.

Wednesday, September 30, 2009. September 18, 2009. Well, it wasn't a trip back to Maui. but we definitely enjoyed our 10th Anniversary, and would not change our lives for anything! The girls drew us "surprise Anniversay cards" on the sidewalk. We enjoyed a relaxing evening at a local restaurant filled with tvs showing, you guessed it, college football games. Sunday, May 10, 2009. Dear Lord, it's such a hectic day with little time to stop and pray. For life's been anything but calm since You called on me to be a mom. Running errands, matching socks, building dreams with building blocks. Cooking, cleaning, and finding shoes, and other stuff that children lose. Fitting lids on bottled bugs, wiping tears and giving hugs. A stack of last week's mail to read, so where's the quiet time I need? Yet when I steal a minute, Lord, just at the sink or ironing board.

Saturday, February 26, 2011. New activities, fun times! So I have been trying to grow out my hair for a while now. I was hoping to have beautiful, flowing, long hair perfectly swept back in long ringlet curls. Not long ago I realized it was completely crazy and never going to happen with my hair, so I chopped it. Monday, August 16, 2010. We had a good time going to Austin and San Antonio with Matt on his work trip again. We are hoping to make this a tradition as I'm sure he'll have many more trips. On our way home we saw this car in the parking lot and had to get a picture of it. The bumper sticker says "I brake just for the hell of it! I guess that's what he gets. Too funny! Sunday, July 5, 2009. End of School Year Awards. Second grade seemed to fly by for Kaylea. We absolutely loved her teacher and will miss her next year. Julianne and I were able to attend their awards ceremony and self led conference, where Kaylea had a collection of school work to show us from the year. Friday, December 31, 2010. Looking back at our 2010 - Day 14. Kaylea started back with piano lessons about a year ago. Her recital last spring was alot of fun. Julianne took dance lessons last year. ballet, tap and jazz. She liked dance class, and she LOVED the recital!
