Number 1, Main Street. With D-Day just passed, it reminded me of talking with Phyllis Stevens - her many tales of how the war affected Willoughby. She spoke of seeing the sky to the west being lit up as Coventry burned in the blitz and how cows were killed in the fields off Gilmorton Lane when a German bomber off-loaded its bombs.
