Ideas for projects, mostly to do with creative learning. Tuesday, January 29, 2008. Musical improvisation for novices. Here's the idea- make a little looping music toy, that lets you improvise melodies. I've thought a lot about this kind of thing, and I was talking to Adam Kumpf. A two-player looping instrument controlled by squeezing to generate notes in a major scale). So all that is just to say, it would be fun to mock something up like this using the scratch board. February 5, 2014 at 11:34 pm · Filed under Cake. Today is the 8th annual World Nutella Day. As if I needed an excuse to eat Nutella. But if you insist, I made banana bread with a tunnel of love. The trouble with baking Nutella though, is its smoothness and flavor degenerate with heat (as evidenced in my Nutella babka. It’s also candy sweet. So I added a bit of cream for smoothness and chopped chocolate for complexity. Use the link for $10 off an order of $30 or more). Thanks to Ms Adventures in Italy.

Thursday, February 26, 2009. This is a favourite quote of mine, and in the past few years I've strived to live my life by its words. It was taken from a speech given by Theodore Roosevelt, and i was just reminded of it while watching the Renzo Gracie documentary "Legacy". Saturday, February 14, 2009. We went for dinner after at a Japanese Izakaya style restaurant in Neutral Bay called Totoya. Wednesday, February 11, 2009.
