Will Work for Fabric. What's on My Kindle. The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared. November 07, 2012. We had a most unwelcome visitor last week, you know her as Sandy, we have some less sanitized names for her. When she left, she took the power with her. Lucky for me, we were only out for 6 days but many of the Sisters are still in the dark, and other friends lost it all. its just heart breaking. So heres the tablerunner and some close-ups. Pieceful Chaos: My son got engaged!
http://piecefulchaos.blogspot.com/2010/08/my-son-got-engaged.html
A blog about my attempts to fit some quilting into the chaos of everyday life! Monday, August 16, 2010. My son got engaged! Here's a picture of the happy couple right after it happened! We just couldn't be happier! She is a wonderful girl - they've been dating 6 years since high school so we feel like she is already part of the family. To top it off, my son got a job offer this week as well (he just graduated college) so there was lots to celebrate this week! Have a pieceful day! Thats really great news.

American Quilter in Ireland: February 2009
http://americanquilterinireland.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
American Quilter in Ireland. Wednesday, February 25, 2009. The Long and Winding Road! Sooo very sorry that I have been absent for the past week. I have been thinking about my blog and thinking about projects that need working on (that I would love to share), but to be honest with you I have been mostly trying to earn a living! This picture is of a road that we love to travel on! I took this picture in November while FarmerBoy and I were out mapping our cycling routes. We never encounter cars on this ...

American Quilter in Ireland: Snow in Ireland!!
http://americanquilterinireland.blogspot.com/2009/02/snow-in-ireland.html
American Quilter in Ireland. Saturday, February 7, 2009. Yes, you heard me right - we have had a good deal of snow this week! We probably won't see this much stuff for another 20 years so I spent some time taking photos and encouraging the kids to play away in it. The council grits the roads with sand but mostly the main roads which leaves most of the poplulation stranded in the coutryside. The backroads were frightening, really frightening! I have been a very bad blogger the past two weeks, I have to ge...

American Quilter in Ireland: Just Another Day
http://americanquilterinireland.blogspot.com/2009/01/just-another-day.html
American Quilter in Ireland. Thursday, January 29, 2009. Not much to share with you this past week, we have been very busy lambing and assorted family duties! FarmerBoy is out there feeding the ewes and their lambs, this is the view from my little sewing nook. The weather is lousy hence the rain on the window but you can kinda make out the lambs and their mudders. Gotta run, too much to do today and not enough time to chat. All the best! This looks like a scene near my home. Have a wonderful retreat!

American Quilter in Ireland. Monday, June 13, 2011. Where Have You Been. The shop is going well (touch wood) and we are building a shop/classroom on our farm so that I can continue to grow the business. The top photo is of our stall at the Knit and Stitch show in Dublin last October. We will be there again this year but in a much better location! I have started a blog for my shop and hope that you will stop on by over there, not sure when i will be back over here! June 14, 2011 at 12:49 AM. I used to hav...

American Quilter in Ireland: May 2009
http://americanquilterinireland.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
American Quilter in Ireland. Tuesday, May 12, 2009. The Tourist Season has Begun! We have just completed our first Cycling Tour with the most fantastic people and it went better than expected! We need to do some tweaking and make a few changes but that was to be expected. Needless to say, my children were cursing me under there breath while I took this photo. FarmerBoy and DS2 were behind me and there was quite a bit of mumbling going on with them as well! See that big patch of dirt? We have sown about 5...

American Quilter in Ireland: November 2008
http://americanquilterinireland.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
American Quilter in Ireland. Saturday, November 29, 2008. Getting closer to a finish! I have no idea what just happened, but I just finished a post and it disappeared! Man that makes me mad! Anywho, my fine assistants were outside this morning inspecting all the frost. It is bitter cold here right now, no where near as cold as when I was growing up in New England but cold enough. We don't use our central heating unless absolutely necessary (you can see your breath upstairs it is so cold! Block of the Mon...

Stitchin by the Sea: Firehouse Sew Day

Stitchin by the Sea. A blog about quilting, stitching and embroidery by the sea - Even if it is only a state of mind. Saturday, September 26, 2009. Today was sew day at the firehouse with my fellow quilters. I hadn't been in several months so it was good to see everyone. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures to share of progress made today as it was more of a social gathering than sewing gathering but that is a good thing too! Sometimes you just need to hang with the gals! My friend, Talin. Purse Mania...

Friday, May 30, 2014. Yesterday marked the first day of the summer reading program at our local library. Although I love the library so SO much, I was not that impressed with it this year. I sat down yesterday and decided to make up our own. Kate is full on reading now and I thought some really GREAT incentives would really keep it going during our long break from school. Between you and me, we had really been planning to all sorts of things with her this summer. Ice cream? I suppose. A pedicure? I have ...

Now, I’ll attempt to educate, or possibly interest you in blogs about the marketing profession. But be warned- I am no expert, just a graduate. I am trying to build my repertoire amongst my people, and here it goes. I’m sure that for the few that read, and the none that regularly follow this blog, this may be a bummer. But not to fret! What have you done today?

Will Work for Fabric. What's on My Kindle. The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared. March 02, 2013. The time has come. Things change, people change, you know how it goes. When I started this blog 6 years ago, I was working for a fabric company.I was quite literally working for fabric. As it turned out, for me, the idea of this job was much better than the reality. Dont get me wrong, it would be great job for someone else, just not me. Posted at 05:55 PM. November 14, 2012. It wa...

Tuesday, November 26, 2013. I miss posting here, but can't think of much to say. Posted by andy 11/26/2013. Thursday, October 21, 2010. Ancient door found in Switzerland. Neat It's easy to think that 5000 years ago, Europeans were living in caves or shelters made of animal skins (especially given the way they live today). This door suggests they were living in relatively comfortable shelters, even by today's 3rd world standards. Posted by andy 10/21/2010. Tuesday, October 05, 2010. Video tour of the ISS.
